EA Benefits Analysis Consulting Engagement
Rose Solutions, in cooperation with Sparx Systems, has
prepared a standard benefits analysis consulting engagement, which investigates
the value to that particular customer of the benefits they could gain from EA,
and establishes the basis for a benefits realisation plan. The engagement
leverages IP developed in similar processes for other customers. The precise
makeup of the engagement varies with different customer needs, and may range
from a single workshop through to a comprehensive requirements definition
process.

The engagement is delivered by our principal, Mr Steve
Rose (supported by specialists in larger engagements). Steve brings the
right mix of skills and experience to conduct this sort of engagement - he
is experienced in architecture, in tools evaluation and selection, and in
benefits maximization as well as having extensive experience across the SDLC
and in project management. Steve has conducted reviews which have met the
Australian government's standards not just for choosing a particular
product, but for sole sourcing it.
Steve has a background with vendor companies like Microsoft (as an architect
for them in Australia as well as a Product Manager in the Enterprise Servers
team in Redmond) and Borland, as well as providing consulting services to
places like the Department of Parliamentary Services and the Department of
Employment and Workplace Relations. Steve is a Practicing Member of the
World Wide Institute of Software Architects, a Member of the Australian
Institute of Company Directors, an Associate Fellow of the Australian
Institute of Management, and a Member of the Project Management Institute.
