4 Day Course: TOGAF 8 Accreditation for Practitioners

The four day course provides the detailed training for the Enterprise Edition and leads to TOGAF certification.

Who should undertake the course: Chief IT Architects, Enterprise Architects, IT Architects, Technologists and experienced IT Professionals both business and technical specialists seeking TOGAF certification and practice knowledge.

Prerequisites: Prior knowledge of IT Architectures and components is an advantage but not necessary.

Learning Objectives

  • The approach and deliverables required to define the process for developing the Enterprise Architecture and managing the lifecycle
  • How to use Architecture Views, Viewpoints and Business Scenarios for Requirements Engineering and Management
  • To be able to understand, design and implement Business, Data, Applications and Technology Architectures using TOGAF by:
    • Populating the Enterprise Architecture with business requirements, architectural and solution building blocks, principles and patterns
    • Applying architectural views to describe the architecture from different perspectives and viewpoints
    • Defining the Enterprise Continuum including the Foundation, Common Systems, Solutions and Industry architectures
  • Create workable Architecture Governance with your customers to ensure a successful Enterprise Architecture lifecycle
  • Ensure continuing alignment of the Enterprise Architecture with the business as it evolves
  • Using TOGAF to develop and populate other Architectural Frameworks such as the Zachman Framework.
